Pansal del Calas (50cl) 2008 Red Wine Tasting Notes:
A late harvest red desert wine that is a wonderful match to chocolate based deserts.
Deep ruby in colour. Made with 70% old vine Garnacha (Grenache) & 30% Carinena.
Complex aromas of plum, blackberry, rose, maple & toffee. This has a clinging texture & its deep dark fruit flavours are at once sappy & deliciously sweet, thanks to gentle acidity that gives definition & cut to the flavours which end on a pleasing sticky, toffeed note, with very impressive length.
