PHILIPPE FOREAU's Vouvray Moelleux 2005 French White Wine
Wine Tasting Notes:
Smelling intensely of pear and quince, citrus and flowers, the Foreau 2005 Vouvray Moelleux comes to the palate with baked pear, quince jelly, almond, and honey, soft in texture, with a note of fresh lime juxtaposed with a hint of caramelization in the finish. While not possessed of the elegance and complexity of the demi-sec, it is early days for this wine, which can certainly be retained for at least the next 10-12 years.
