Mas Oller is a Boutique, 12 hectare winery nestled away in the historic D.O of Emporda: a wonderful, amphitheatre-like wine region overlooking the Mediterranean sea, located in the north-eastern part of Catalonia, just to the south of the Pyrenees.
Owner, Carlos Esteva is well known in Spain for his pioneering wine-making (he introduced Merlot in Spain during the seventies and his Gran Caus Tinto 1984 made using Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc aged in French Oak barrels was a completely new concept in Spain).
Assisting Carlos is wine-maker Anna Baques who was awarded "Most promising Young Wine-Maker" by the Catalan Wine Makers Association in 2008. Anna previously worked for the famous Can Rafols dels Caus
