Dauvergne Ranvier's Cote Rotie Vin Rare 2009 French Red Wine
Wine Tasting Notes:
The 2009 Cote Rotie has 2% Viognier in the blend in addition to the Syrah. Most of the blend comes from a plot situated in Ampuis ("Les Roziers") and is associated to other grapes coming from Tupin-Semons ("But de Mont"). The grapes have been fully destemmed and have macerated during 25 days. The wine has been aged during 14 months in barrels.
Deep red with hints of violet.Powerful nose with red fruits and slightly toasted smell. Round, ample and very smooth palat. Delicate, very long finish with aromas of tobacco which succed aromas of red current and liquorice.
