Pegau's Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Laurence 2004 French Red Wine
Wine Tasting Notes:
The dark plum/garnet-tinged 2004 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Laurence boasts sweet lavender, Provencal herb, cassis, and black cherry aromas. In the mouth, it is full-bodied with superb fruit concentration as well as Provencal typicity. In many ways, this cuvee is slightly more evolved (because of longer aging) than the Cuvee Reservee. It also seems more complex and slightly less tannic. Drink it now and over the next 12-15 years. Robert Parker. Wine Advocate #173 Oct 2007
